Watch: set up your website in minutes
A quick walkthrough of the setup steps below — pick your trade, area, services, branding and go live.
1. Getting started
Your account is a website, a job book and a marketing assistant in one place. Start here.
- 1. Sign in
Go to /login and sign in with Google or your email and password. The first account created becomes the owner.
- 2. Check your business details
Open Website and confirm your business name, phone number, service area and opening hours. These appear on your public site and in every notification.
- 3. Add your logo and colours
Branding lets you upload a logo and pick your brand colour. Your public site and customer emails use it automatically.
- 4. Take the walkthrough
The first time you sign in, a short guided tour highlights each area. You can replay it any time from Guide & tour in the header.
2. Your website
Every account gets a live website with an enquiry form. No hosting or domain setup needed to start.
- 1. Services
Add each service you offer with a short plain-English description. These become the service cards and help you show up in local searches.
- 2. Gallery
Upload before/after photos of real jobs. Photos win more work than words — aim for at least six.
- 3. Reviews
Add existing reviews from customers, Google or Facebook. They show on your homepage as social proof.
- 4. Local SEO
Set your town and the areas you cover. Orvia generates a page per area so nearby customers can find you.
- 5. View site
The View site button in the header opens your public website exactly as customers see it.
3. Enquiries and jobs
Enquiries arrive from your website form, QR code scans, phone calls and manual entry.
- 1. Today
Your daily overview — new jobs, urgent work, callbacks owed, quotes out and work booked in.
- 2. Jobs
The full list. Open a job to see the customer's number, the description, their photos and the history of everything that's happened.
- 3. Update the status
Move a job through New → Contacted → Quoted → Booked → In progress → Completed. The status drives your dashboard numbers and your reminders.
- 4. Board
The same jobs as a drag-and-drop pipeline. Best on a laptop; on mobile it scrolls column by column.
- 5. Notes and quotes
Record a quote amount, booked date and internal notes. Anything you type here is private to your team.
- 6. Customer portal
Each job has a private link you can text to the customer so they can see progress and reply without phoning.
4. AI receptionist
Answers the calls you miss, texts the customer back and creates the job for you.
- 1. Get a number
Ask us to connect a phone number to your account, or forward your existing number to the one we provide.
- 2. Set your greeting
In Receptionist, write how you want calls answered and what questions to ask (job type, postcode, urgency).
- 3. Missed-call text back
If a call is missed, the caller gets an instant text with a link to your enquiry form. The call and text both appear as a job.
- 4. Check the transcripts
Every call is logged with a summary so you can see exactly what was said before you ring back.
5. Marketing on autopilot
Completed jobs and job photos turn into ready-to-post social content. Nothing publishes without your approval.
- 1. Ideas
The idea inbox fills automatically from finished jobs and uploaded photos. You can also type an idea yourself.
- 2. Generate
Orvia writes a Facebook post, an Instagram caption, a Google Business update and optionally LinkedIn — in your brand's tone of voice.
- 3. Approve
Everything lands in Approvals as a draft. Approve, edit or reject. Only approved content can be published.
- 4. Accounts
Connect your Facebook page, Instagram business account and Google Business Profile. If you'd rather we set it up for you, use Setup to request a done-for-you connection.
- 5. Library
Every post is stored and searchable, so you can reuse or duplicate anything that worked well.
6. Getting more work
- 1. QR codes
Generate a code for your van, invoices, business cards or leaflets. Each code is tracked so you can see which one brings in jobs.
- 2. Referrals
Generate a referral code per customer. When someone uses it, the referral is attributed automatically.
- 3. Offers
Publish a seasonal offer to your website in a couple of clicks.
- 4. Insights
Visitors, where they came from, which pages they read and how many turned into enquiries. Reviewed weekly, this tells you what to do more of.
7. Plans and billing
Start free and only add tools when they earn their place.
- 1. Free
A hosted Orvia website, enquiry form, QR code and five enquiries a month. No card needed.

8. A simple weekly routine
Fifteen minutes a week is enough to keep everything moving.
- 1. Every day
Open Today. Ring back anything new or urgent, then update each job's status.
- 2. Twice a week
Chase the quotes that haven't been answered — the dashboard flags anything going stale.
- 3. Once a week
Upload photos from finished jobs, then approve the content Orvia has drafted for you.
- 4. Once a month
Read Insights, ask two happy customers for a review, and check your offer is still current.
