Orvia vs Tradify
Tradify is a job management app. Compared as at 2026-09-11.
Tradify manages work you already have. Orvia is a business system that also goes and gets it. If your problem is a messy diary and late invoices, Tradify is a good, mature answer. If your problem is that not enough enquiries arrive in the first place, a job management app will not fix it.
What Tradify is genuinely good at
- Mature, well-tested job management with years of development behind it
- Strong scheduling and timesheets for teams
- Accounting integrations with Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
- Trade certificates and compliance forms for gas and electrical work
- UK-based support and pricing in pounds
Choose Tradify if…
Established trade businesses with plenty of work coming in, several people to schedule, and an accountant who wants everything flowing into Xero or Sage.
Choose Orvia if…
Sole traders and small teams who need to win more work as well as organise it, and who do not currently have a website worth sending anyone to.

Our take
The genuine difference is which half of the business each one solves. Tradify starts at the point where a customer has already rung you: quote, schedule, complete, invoice, sync to the accountant. It does that thoroughly, and for a five-van operation with a full diary the scheduling and timesheet depth is worth paying per user for.
Orvia starts a step earlier. Setup produces a website, a page for each town you cover, an enquiry form, tracked phone clicks and — optionally — a business number with an assistant that answers the calls you miss. The CRM, quotes and invoices are then deliberately simpler than Tradify's, because they are aimed at a business of one to five people rather than fifteen.
Be honest with yourself about which problem you have. If your diary is full and your invoicing is chaos, buy the job management app. If you are quiet three weeks in twelve and your online presence is a Facebook page, better invoicing will not change your income.
Where Tradify is clearly ahead: accounting integrations and industry compliance certificates. If you need an electrical installation certificate produced from the job, or CIS handled through Sage, that is a real requirement Orvia does not currently meet, and we would rather say so than have you find out in month two.
Where Orvia is clearly ahead: everything before the enquiry exists, and the total bill. A flat plan per business rather than per user means adding a second pair of hands does not increase what you pay until you reach the team limits.
The verdict
Choose Tradify if you have plenty of work and need deeper scheduling, certificates and accounting sync. Choose Orvia if you need the website, local visibility and enquiry capture as well as the job admin, and want one flat price for the business.
